Most Laser Cutting Systems sold by Orca are designed to be classified as Class I, under the regulations of the Bureau of Radiological Health of the U.S. Government.

Class I systems do not require any additional shielding or enclosure to be used on the factory floor. They are designed to be intrinsically safe with regard to Laser Hazards, when used as intended.

As with any major industrial tool, a Laser Cutting System requires establishing and maintaining a sound safety plan and procedures. Ultimate responsibility for Safety lies with the end user, but Orca's systems are designed for safe operation when the appropriate simple safety measures are used conscienciously.

Orca works closely with every customer to help ensure a safe and compliant Laser Cutter installation
